Here at The Avenue Cookery School we ‘dough-nut’ care if you have never made a doughnut before, this ALL YOU CAN EAT Doughnut Workshop is your opportunity to become a doughnut Sensei!
The Doughnuts on our hands-on All You Can Eat Doughnut Workshop are miniature classic British doughnuts, taking you down memory lane with the fresh smell of your local childhood bakery. You will leave this class baker ready, equipped with the skills to fill your home with the incredible smell of homemade doughy treats!
During your two hours at The Avenue you will learn how to make every aspect of these delicious fried treats. From the perfect dough, to not one, but three different types of tasty fillings, including smooth and creamy Custard of which the chefs will demo, the humble and classic Jam, and one of our favourites; Chocolate Dulce de Leche!
Don’t worry, we won’t throw you in straight away, after all, this is The Avenue, not Gordon Ramseys kitchen! Before getting hands-on your class will start with an informative demonstration of all you need to know to make these miniature delights. Then you will then be set free to bake, fill and, of course, eat the doughnuts yourself all under the helpful hands of our chefs, who will be ready to help you if needed.
Of course, as it is All You Can Eat, you will be indulging in heaps of these delicious selection of tasty doughy treats!!! With a tea or coffee (or a tipple if you fancy) you will get to eat them fresh at your table while you are making the next batch – no patience required here, indulge your temptation but just don’t burn your mouth.
