The History of Tango began in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the late 19th Century. The dance started in the slums of Buenos Aires taking place in bars, cafes, and courtyards. Then Tango took the next step into the more established Dancing houses and later inside the middle and high-class Argentinian homes.

This class is designed for The Beginner. No previous experience is required.We begin each class with The Walk and technique exercises to prepare us to dance tango, improving our balance,posture, flexibility, and body movement.
The Ballroom Tango could best be described as the more sophisticated of the two whereas the Argentine Tango reflects a type of raw passion and moodiness that is characteristic of this dance.
The style has grown in popularity and spread internationally as a standard ballroom dance style. The Argentine Tango has added modern elements to the dance without removing the classic elements of the style.
We follow the traditional approach and are aiming to show you all the intricacies and subtle codes of the Tango world, this dance is all about the detail and to master it will be a long journey ahead.
