This workshop provides students with a comprehensive crash course on photographing 2D artwork. Topics include how to properly stage, light, and capture high quality digital images to prepare for submissions, web posting (includes web sites and social media), professional quality printing or printed media publications, and archive documentation.
We’ll also discuss some advanced techniques like blending layers in Photoshop and using polarizers to control glare. Bring your camera or smartphone, and we will provide the rest! If you shoot with a DSLR or mirrorless camera, some prior experience and knowledge of basic settings is preferred.
We have been providing visual arts classes to students of all skill levels and experience for over 50 years. CAC has become a top adult art education destinations within the North Texas area serving a range of students from teenagers to senior citizens and beginning to emerging artists.
