Selwyn Community Education is a community education centre based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland. Each year we offer a wide range of more than 750 evening and weekend courses, plus some daytime English for Migrants courses.
During the school holidays, we offer children's art, cooking and craft courses. Join us on one of our friendly courses to meet others in the community, learn new skills and have fun.
Our course categories:
During school term time, our office is open 9am - 9pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are open 9am - 3pm. Once a month we are open for a weekend programme of courses. During school holidays we are open for limited hours.
Eat a Rainbow Kids Cooking Classes are a fun way to learn how to make healthy food choices and learn some life long skills in the kitchen. In this class the kids will be making Roasted Seaweed Snacks, Quick Potato Pancakes and Muffins
This is an after-school program where we train small groups of children in essential and fun cookery skills. $15/session all inclusive. Ages 0-17yrs.
Bring the kids and get into the Christmas spirit with this family friendly workshop! We'll get our gingerbread houses made for Christmas together, eat chocolate dipped fruit and drink mulled wine while we do it!
The junior chef culinary programme will teach a range of skills for the kitchen
