Courseware Description

Autodesk Inventor Essentials Training is designed for new and beginner Autodesk Inventor users who want to learn the essential tools and principles of 3D parametric part design, assembly design, and creating production-ready part assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor. The course is designed to give students an excellent foundation to understand and become familiar with the features and commands of Inventor.

Courseware Objectives

• The primary objective of this course is to enable the participant to create basic 3D parts, assemblies, and drafting using Inventor. Even at this fundamental level, Inventor is still one of the most sophisticated computer applications that you are likely to encounter. Therefore, learning to use it can be challenging.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the inventor's user interfaces & workflow.

• Create parts, assemblies, & drafts or drawings.

• Edit and reuse parts & assemblies.

• Creating sketches using 2D sketch tools.

• Differentiating between parts, assembly, & drawing.

• Making assembly constraints and simple mechanisms.

Who should attend?

• This course is designed for new users of Inventor with basic CAD knowledge.

Pre-Requisites

• A working knowledge of basic design/drafting procedures and terminology

• working knowledge of your operating system.

• A CAD has basic knowledge.

Course Achievement

• Autodesk Certification of Completion shall be issued to participants with full attendance records upon training completion.
