Jennifer Doolan Dance was established back in 2016 by Jennifer Doolan. We are a local dance school located in the heart of Broughton, where Salford borders Manchester. Our aim is to provide dance classes of different styles to all ages, creating a fun and safe environment.
JD Dance is a community that builds confidence through affordable, high-quality dance classes for everybody. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer looking to improve your technique, you can find it here with us.
These classes are open to all adults, of all shapes and sizes, who would like to "have a go" at ballet but have never had the opportunity before, or novice dancers who have not danced for many years.
Our classes are taken from the IDTA (International Dance Teacher's Association) syllabus which uses a combination of traditional classwork at the barre and in the centre as well as creative improvisation to alternative music.
Ballet truly is the core and provides the necessary foundation that is needed to be successful in every other form of dance. Ballet teaches poise, grace, discipline, correct posture flexibility, and strength.
Beginners, Improvers, General, Intermediate & Advanced levels to suit all levels of experience and ability. Great for exercise, understanding your body, developing a sense of poise and wellbeing, keeping fit and exploring your creative and artistic qualities.
Using classical technique combined with modern approaches, this class lays the foundations for aspiring ballet dancers.
