Students will learn the basic ballet barre exercises and steps, along with new vocabulary in French. Additionally they’ll learn stretches technique, posture and classical music appreciation as well as an introduction to choreography and performance experience.
Students will continue the process of progressively learning ballet technique. The main focuses are learning posture, coordination, and challenging steps combinations, all together build on developing artistry and musical rhythm.
As the class progresses in levels, students will continue adding more challenging steps and their ballet technique will become stronger. Advanced classes are made up of more complex steps and more dynamics of changes, and directions. Participants will develop performance experience, as they are required to participate at the end of the year performance.
Creativo Dance Studio offers professional and fun dance classes for kids, teens, and adults. Founded in 1998 by Daysi Cepeda, director, and owner. Mrs. Cepeda has been teaching for over thirty years, encouraging thousands of participants to develop a love and passion for the art of dance.
Dance Studio No.1 is a classical ballet academy highly regarded for two core offerings: its strong and successful, pre-professional classical ballet program, and its endearing young children’s program.
Foundations of ballet alignment, basic positions, carriage of the arms, and class etiquette are introduced.
This class will focus on proper alignment and technique at the barre. A full class dedicated to barre work will improve your balance, strength, muscle memory, and posture.
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and will maximize technique and longevity in a dancers career. Ballet provides grace, poise, and the technique neseccary to be proficient in all other areas of dance.
