Here at Freelance Dance, we have a whole timetable of classes, running all day for you to choose from.
We have classes for children and adults, classes are geared towards technical ability and improving dance skills, and classes to keep you fit and toned.
Brooke has been dancing since 1987 and holds a BA(Hons.) in Dance Choreography as well as all grades in Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Modern and Jazz.
Throughout Brooke’s career, she has worked professionally for a number of leading dance companies and is a qualified dance and fitness teacher.
Brooke has owned the studio for over 10 years, and as well as teaching there herself, Brooke works freelance across the nation in schools teaching all key stage ages (3-17y/o), and in community and leisure centres around her timetable. The studio is also home to a number of other freelancers, who like Brooke, have a passion for teaching dance and fitness.
As well as this, Brooke is proud to have worked for TIN Arts for over 7 years specialising in teaching students with physical and learning disabilities. In doing this, Brooke holds a number of qualifications and undergone lots of training in this area of expertise.
Ballet is to dance what the alphabet is to reading. Once the body has been classically trained the transition to other subjects is seamless. Balletic technique encourages elegance, beautiful flowing movement and hence physical confidence.
The foundation of all dance,Ballet teaches posture, alignment, and technique. Pointe work is introduced to Advanced students.
Ballet uses the movement of the body to tell a story and express emotion. Ballet dance can be exciting, magical and thought-provoking.
Adult Ballet classes are offered by Dance For All. All classes at Dance For All are a great way to exercise and provide a progressive learning experience, allowing you to hone your dancing skills while building a more flexible and supple body.
An adult Ballet class suitable for those with little to no previous Ballet experience or those who have danced in the past and wish to refresh their knowledge and gain strength and technique again.
