Students will be introduced to building the strength, flexibility and control needed to execute beginning ballet technique. Each class will include barre exercises and may include some combinations in center.

This ballet class is for all ages and all levels. The goal is to help your body gain better balance, posture, flexibility, and core strength, not to train perfect ballerinas. Learn different terminology and build the various muscles to support your ballet journey.
Our Ballet class places a focus on the development of ballet movements. This class will introduce sophisticated turns, steps, and leaps. Nashville Ballet owns its own building, The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet, a customized facility that serves as a home for our professional dancers, school students and administrative offices.
This course is accompanied by live music and draw from a variety of classical and contemporary techniques.
