Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, VOLUME PERFORMANCE CENTER is Marion County’s number one program (via Indy A List) for dance. We pride ourselves in providing kid friendly and age appropriate dance instruction, balancing the right amount of technique with fun.
And providing a safe place for ALL people to dance. Our dance curriculum includes instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, pom, stretch & flex, tumbling, leaps & turns, kinder aged dance, as well as adult classes.
In Ballet level II/Pointe, attention is paid to the proper extension of the legs and shape of the feet, developing movement sequences, port de bras, and balance. Students will see an increase in difficulty in barre and center work. Students will also begin to focus on repetition and retention.
An introduction to ballet technique, terminology, and positions. Students will learn the classical art form of ballet through barre work, center, and progressive combinations.
Advanced Ballet 1 (Ages 7–10) classes are offered by Nieves Latin Dance Studio. All Children are required to wear their uniforms to class.
Ballet is the most widespread and predominant dance form in the world. Earle Cobb focuses on technical training in the Russian technique, interspersed with Italian and French styles.
Pointe Dance Classes are offered by South Bay Dance Center for all ages and skill level. South Bay Dance Center is recognized by many bay area professional dancers and college faculty members as the premiere dance education facility for serious dance students in the greater San Jose region.
