DurationThe foundation of all dance genres. Students are highly encouraged to study ballet first or along with other genres of dance. All Dance Xplosion® Company members are required to take ballet. For levels that include Pointe, wearing pointe shoes requires instructor approval.
Pointe only classes – students taking pointe only classes must also take at least 1 ballet class per week and must be approved prior to enrolling in pointe.
Dance Xplosion was opened by lifetime dancer Amber Frishman in 2008. Dance Xplosion is a learning, training and performing facility for all forms of dance with an exciting Annual Recital held in the spring at the conclusion of each school year.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to participate in a one-hour ballet class. Â Our disciplined, yet encouragement-based technique class offers the student a clear understanding of ballet terminology, proper body lines, and alignment.
Dancers gain admittance to this class through teacher recommendation and director approval. Â This 75-minute non-performing technique class will focus on the strength and alignment necessary for pointe work.
This class introduces students to the elements of ballet. Ballet exercises including barre work, center work, and across the floor combinations, combined with creative lessons in rhythm, coordination, balance, and musicality stimulate students’ creativity and self-expression.
Students enrolled in the pre-professional division are placed in each level on a basis of individual improvement, technical ability, and work ethic.
Ballet Dance Classes are offered by Dancyn Studio for all ages and skill level. At Dancyn Studio we prepare our dancers for a future of success. By ingraining the values of hard work, discipline, and teamwork, they gain a solid foundation of dance excellence.
