What You'll Learn As a Barber Apprentice
Students at BCBA become well-rounded barbers that create lasting relationships with clients through quality and excellence.
Upon completion of this 1,000 program, students will be equipped with the knowledge to pass the state board examinations, both written and practical.
Blade Craft Barber Academy provides education in the craft of barbering. Our staff is comprised of Blade Masters that bring real world expertise to guide students on their own journey to mastery.
With an upscale learning environment dedicated solely to straight razor shaves and barber education, students learn the skills they need to pass the state board exam and succeed in the grooming industry.
At the end of the curriculum, students leave with an understanding of the nuances of male styles and male grooming products.
Our curriculum is a balance of theory and practical skills. Students learn a wide range of barbering skills from hair cutting and styling, to the art of straight razor shaves. They also learn the finer details of the craft like the importance of sanitation, proper etiquette, and networking to increase client base.
Our Facility
Blade Craft Barber Academy is located in Deep Ellum, an eccentric neighborhood in Dallas, Texas, which is known for its art, dining, and community. Much like the atmosphere of the neighborhood, BCBA is designed and constructed using recycled and refurbished materials.
From the space, it's easy to access multiple DART Rail Stations and major highways in the metroplex.
Within our facility, you will find a retail space offering male specific products for their grooming needs. We pride ourselves in carrying only professional-grade products for skin care, colognes, beard maintenance, and shave products.
Want to style hair and not fuss with nails, skin, or makeup? Our new hairstylist license program could be the right choice for you! Normal cosmetology programs take around 1600 hours, but this license takes 1000 and can get you cutting hair sooner!
Cosmetology Chemistry (chemical composition and the purpose of cosmetic, nail, hair, and skin care preparations; elementary chemical makeup, chemical skin peels, physical and chemical changes of matter)
At Central Texas Beauty College, you should expect the best barber crossover course training available, plus the support you need to excel in your classwork, hands-on training, and beyond.
In this course, students are trained and can expect to learn how to cut, color, and style both men's and women's hair. Â This course is slightly different than the full cosmetology course. Â Hair Design students learn the art of hairstyling.
This program is offered as a hybrid model on-line and in-person. The graduate will be prepared to take the State Licensing examination and gain an entry-level position.
