This course aims to equip the learners with the basic skills and knowledge to perform basic makeup in accordance with proper industry standards and procedures in their workplace.

• Types of facial skin tones and types and colour schemes

• Types of products, tools and equipment used to perform basic makeup.

• Procedures for facial skin preparation (Practical skill performance).

• Basic Makeup application techniques (Practical skill performance).

• Basic Makeup correction and touch up techniques (Practical skill performance).

• Contraindications and skin allergies towards products used during application, and procedures to check for and handle contraindications.

• Procedures for safe preparation and handling of products, tools and equipment.

• Standard aftercare and advice and home application advice
