For all our lessons we use modern teaching practices and stay up to date with developments in swimming, as we are always looking for areas of improvement.
We will lay out the entire process, right from recommending which pair of goggles and swim suit to purchase prior to your first lesson to swimming your first full length of front crawl with breathing. We will also detail the sequence of how you will be taught prior to receiving your first instruction in your first lesson.
A description of the psychology and physiology involved in swimming will be given to help you better understand why we want you to swim in the specific way in which we are teaching you.
We are also happy to provide intensive swimming lessons, these are delivered daily over a week or a number of weeks should you need to speed up the process in order to get ready for an upcoming holiday in which you would like to enter the water for the first or should it be to get comfortable in deep water for snorkelling experience you have planned later in the year.
The intensive lessons enable the swimming movements to become autonomous in a much shorter period of time however our recommended duration and frequency would be 60 mins once per week over a period of 3 months.
This will provide a stronger foundation and be should allow you to keep the teachings many years after you have finished with us. It might be comforting to know that swimming has a masters category over 100 years of age, what other sports can offer this sort of life long enjoyment.
