Welcome to Dancefit Canada, where the dancer and athlete meet. We are so excited to welcome everyone back to share the dance floor for Fall 2021 as we embark on our 11th year teaching dance and fitness to those as young as three and as youthful as 93!. We offer both recreational and competitive dance, cultivating creativity in all our dancers in a safe, healthy and positive environment.
We offer ballet, tap, jazz, Acro, lyrical, hip hop, and Musical Theatre as well as a fun Adult dance program : Ballet, Tap, Salsa, Belly Dance and Zumba. Please feel free to contact Doris Kates,owner and director for more information to join our Dancefit Family.
The courses prepare for spectacle and stage techniques and, for more advanced students, for competitions and the possibility of being part of the renowned Mirage troupe
Have fun while learning the basics of belly dance in a supportive, friendly atmosphere.
In this course, we will practice the basic techniques of oriental dance in different exercises: speed and slowness, fluidity and linearity, strength and flexibility, improvisation with the teacher and above all a lot of fun !!!
This high energy class will explore foundational bellydance skills using percussive, fluid and shimmy movements, to a variety of bellydance music.
