Every adult that walks through the doors of Midtown Youth Academy and decides to join us, either through a monthly membership or a daily drop-in, helps to financially support our youth programs. Youth attend the academy at no cost and, at minimum, require time, equipment, snacks, utilities, and proper supervision.
Midtown Youth Academy (MYA) aims to prepare underserved youth for success in educational and future endeavors by helping them to develop skills, self-discipline, and cohesive relationships through sports and various other wellness and educational programs.
MYA uses boxing and the gym as a vehicle to engage with teenagers, to keep them off the streets, and to introduce them to a broad platform of activities, including tutoring and mentoring, that would help them succeed at school and in their communities.
Goals

This class will challenge your fitness and take you through the routine of a real boxer, all while having fun! In this class, boxers (you!) will be working your full body in every move! Learn elite boxing skills in every class
If you are looking to take your boxing to the next level, then Adult Boxing 101 is the class for you! This class is technical and specific to the art of boxing. The goal of the class is to master your skills AS IF you were preparing for your first professional fight.
This type of boxing class is for beginners and early intermediate-level training. Sam Colonna's Boxing 101 class separates students by skill level. The coach is able to push the students based on their skill and experience levels.
Boxing classes are offered by the Nomad Boxing Club. We provide support and encouragement to help them meet the challenges of training in this intensive sport.
Join us for boxing basics and learn the art of boxing. Boxing techniques build a strong body and mind from which one can transition into more advanced stages, including a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a range of difficulties, from beginner to advanced, amateur to professional.
