Bettie’s Chicago is a retro diner-themed event space located in downtown Chicago. We offer weekly baking classes and date night events hosted by Baker Bettie.
These classes focus on giving students as much hands-on experience as possible while Bettie breaks down techniques and baking science in an easily digestible way.
Our space is also available for private classes or parties as well as corporate events. Complete with a real 1950s juke box and coke machine our unique vintage venue offers a one-of-a-kind experience to host your event!
Cake 'N Sip (Boozy Ice Cream Cake Decorating Class) is a 2.5-hour class you and a friend will build and decorate a 6-inch boozy ice cream cake.

French Apple Cake class is offered by Whipped Bakery Cafe. It’s apple season and this apple and custard cake is sure to please.
In this new class, you will learn classic, simple and not-so-simple techniques on how to finish, garnish, decorate and serve the perfect cake. We discuss and demo ways to troubleshoot issues of baking, but the primary focus of this class is finish work.
