Bettie’s Chicago is a retro diner-themed event space located in downtown Chicago. We offer weekly baking classes and date night events hosted by Baker Bettie.
These classes focus on giving students as much hands-on experience as possible while Bettie breaks down techniques and baking science in an easily digestible way.
Our space is also available for private classes or parties as well as corporate events. Complete with a real 1950s juke box and coke machine our unique vintage venue offers a one-of-a-kind experience to host your event!
Join us to learn the secrets to making the ultimate chocolate chip cookies!
Join us for a “sip and paint” class, but with food! Each participant will make their own focaccia dough to use as a canvas and top it with ingredients to create art.
Join us to learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch in this date night style class! Participants will work in groups of two to mix, knead, and roll out the pasta dough. Each participant will hand cut and cook their pasta (served with choice of sauce and ingredient add-ins).
Join us for a take-and-bake homemade cinnamon rolls class. The perfect breakfast the next morning for Father’s Day! Participants will make their own soft and fluffy yeast dough from scratch, fill, roll, cut it into rolls, and make a tangy creamy cheese frosting on top.
Join head chef instructor Kristin “Baker Bettie” Hoffman as we make French macarons from scratch! You’ll learn all of the tips and tricks for creating perfect shells with the signature macaron “feet.”
