Join head chef instructor Kristin “Baker Bettie” Hoffman as we make French macarons from scratch! You’ll learn all of the tips and tricks for creating perfect shells with the signature macaron “feet.”
Students will make, color, and pipe their macaron shells and make a filling to finish them with! Each student will make and fill their own macarons to take home.
Note: While macarons are naturally gluten free and we do our best to avoid cross-contamination, please be aware that our facility does utilize a great deal of wheat flour. This class contains tree nuts.
Bettie’s Chicago is a retro diner-themed event space located in downtown Chicago. We offer weekly baking classes and date night events hosted by Baker Bettie.
These classes focus on giving students as much hands-on experience as possible while Bettie breaks down techniques and baking science in an easily digestible way.

What’s more romantic than dining at a cozy bistro? Cook French favorites with your special someone. Try your hand at pan roasting chicken, practice your knife skills while preparing vegetables for ratatouille, and learn how to mix and roll out pastry dough for a savory tart.
Our French cooking class gives students the opportunity to learn several different techniques popular in kitchens across the world. From poaching, braising, roasting, and several different knife cuts, students will get a lot from this class!
French Cooking class is offered by Flavors Of Miami. As Miami Locals, we are able to provide you with some pretty awesome programs and activities for your groups both large and small.
In this class we will be learning how to make Chicken Cordon Bleu, focusing on knife skills and safety as we prepare roasted vegetables seasoned with Herbs de Provence, and you and your child will flip over how delicious our crepes are served with mixed berries and whipped cream.
