Our Carpentry and Joinery course is specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions, and the test(s) are based on the learner showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification.
This occupation includes two different options and you will either work on a construction site as an Advanced Site Carpenter or in a workshop as an Advanced Architectural Joiner.
Over the course of a long weekend (Friday – Monday), students receive a good grounding in the basics of woodwork.
The qualification has been devised to provide students with a fantastic understanding of all aspects of carpentry; a very in depth course to have you industry-ready and competent across a range of skills.
You will complete a minimum of 30 hours of on-the-job experience within the industry and have the opportunity to work on many live projects in the community.
