Over the course of a long weekend (Friday – Monday), students receive a good grounding in the basics of woodwork.
This course will give you a broad introduction to practical woodworking skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of materials and learn the correct use of tools and equipment while learning new processes and techniques.
Our Level 2 Diploma in Furniture Design and Making is designed to take you woodworking skills to the next level by developing your practical skills in design. If you are passionate about creating bespoke pieces of furniture from scratch, then this is the course for you.
