Objective: To cultivate interest in music, develop general musicianship, prepare for graded examinations conducted by ABRSM and NAFA.
Activities:
Our course is available from the Beginner level to Grade 8 and Diploma level. Lessons consist of Practical Playing, Theory of Music, Aural Training, Playing at Sight and General Musicianship.
Share the Music
Ensemble or group lessons are conducted regularly where students are grouped according to their standards. Through this, our students are able to develop chamber ensemble skills and experience group interaction. General aspects of techniques and musical interpretations are taught by instructor. We believe this will build confidence and develop aural awareness and musicianship in the students.
Embrace the Music
There are many performing opportunities in Appreciate Music School. Student’s Recitals are held every 3 months. The most awaited event is our Appreciate Annual Concert where teachers and students showcase their talent to the public.
Perfect the Music
We adopt syllabus from Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). ABRSM exam board has approved us to conduct the practical examinations in-house.

Let us start by telling you what a cello is. A ‘cello’ is really a nickname. It’s the abbreviation of the bow-stringed instrument which, in Italian, means ‘small giant string.’ This eccentric name denotes its difficult history of size modification.
