You can choose whether you are interested in classical, pop, rock, or even jazz! Aureus Academy teachers are highly qualified and couples a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a wealth of performing and teaching experience.
Cello, abbreviated from the full name ‘violoncello’, has a beautiful, deep, and powerful tone. A versatile instrument, the cello is found not only in western classical orchestras, but has become a fixture in Chinese orchestra, as well as becoming increasingly popular in pop and rock music.
Some famous names you might have heard of include Yo-Yo Ma, Jacqueline du Pre, Steven Isserlis, and the Croatian-Slovenian cellist duo 2CELLOS.

At Wolfgang Violin Studio, the cello program is structured after the school's signature Prelude violin classes, aimed to guide students towards Cello Grade 1 within a year.
This method is pioneered by Dr Shinichi Suzuki for teaching violin and later adapted to teaching cello, to very young children.
Let us start by telling you what a cello is. A ‘cello’ is really a nickname. It’s the abbreviation of the bow-stringed instrument which, in Italian, means ‘small giant string.’ This eccentric name denotes its difficult history of size modification.
As a New student or continuation of group classes, the child receives individual attention from our teachers.
