Green Apron Kitchen is the brainchild of Fabiana Santana, a chef, food writer, teacher and a mom of three two always on the look out to find something fun yet educational to engage her own children.
Knowing that food and cooking are not only essential to our daily lives but a great source of endless fun for kids, the seeds for Green Apron Kitchen began to sprout! What could be more creative, educational and FUN than cooking?!!!
​What started as a kids cooking class has grown into a community of food-lovers, both young and grown, who come together to learn, share, cook and eat.
Students come to us to learn the art of scratch cooking and the value of real food. In addition to instruction, we offer nutritional education for parents and families looking to make a change in their lifestyle.
Students will learn how to make a yeast dough from scratch. They will then cut out, fry, glaze and decorate your delicious creations!
Imagine you’ve happened upon a magical cottage of sweetest proportions…where rooftops are sugared with frosted shingles and chocolate doors are adorned with fruity wreaths.
Fresh baked goodies make the house smell amazing! This class will show you some great baked dishes that are sure to warm you from the inside out. Â
In this 3 month workshop, our students will learn everything that they need to know about bread! You will learn about decorative breads, sweet breads, baguettes, Italian breads, basic baking techniques and more!
Fresh-Milled Sourdough class is offered by The King's Roost. We also offer private and mobile classes for in-home teaching or corporate events and team building.
