The Cadence school, under the direction of Sylvie Domingue, offers quality and pleasant education in a warm environment that meets the needs of its customers.
Since 1990, several events have contributed to the development of the school such as the numerous shows, the creation of the Troupe and the Folklore Ensemble and the various training courses.
The school is distinguished by the excellent training and the great competence of its teachers who teach in their specialty. In addition, many of our students have chosen to continue their journey in the professional world of dance and do us honor on the national and international scene.
Finally, the Cadence school has hosted within its walls several artists from the professional world including Andréa Boardman, Louise Lecavalier, Steve Bolton, Sylvain Brochu, Line Binette, Maryse Blanchette, Lucie Boissinot and many others.

This classical dance class allows you to learn several techniques that are the basis of other artistic styles
A part of classical ballet technique in which a dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet. Pointe shoes allow a dancer to distribute the weight load throughout the foot.
Emotion is the wellspring of the expressive gesture in modern dance, in contrast to the aestheticism and virtuosity of classical ballet.
Students aged 8 and up will receive a 45 min. class once a week. Dancers are placed according to age & level at the teahcers discretion. Class consists of barre and center work as well as traveling steps.
It allows the classes of other forms of dance, such as: jazz, contemporary, to move at a faster pace as the dancers already know the required foundation steps learned in ballet.
