Ballet dance is the best basis for all forms of stage dancing. To ensure student safety, Cadence School allows pointe shoes only when it has been approved by the teacher
The Cadence school, under the direction of Sylvie Domingue, offers quality and pleasant education in a warm environment that meets the needs of its customers.
Since 1990, several events have contributed to the development of the school such as the numerous shows, the creation of the Troupe and the Folklore Ensemble and the various training courses.
The school is distinguished by the excellent training and the great competence of its teachers who teach in their specialty. In addition, many of our students have chosen to continue their journey in the professional world of dance and do us honor on the national and international scene.
Finally, the Cadence school has hosted within its walls several artists from the professional world including Andréa Boardman, Louise Lecavalier, Steve Bolton, Sylvain Brochu, Line Binette, Maryse Blanchette, Lucie Boissinot and many others.

Our Ballet classes are available for students ages 5-18 and are composed of the CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) syllabus.
Pointe classes are available by selection only. Students must be 11 years of age and have extensive training in the ballet program prior to beginning Pointe. All participants will be at the discretion of the Ballet Director.
Danced to percussive music, this dance form teaches freedom of movement and expression. Classes begin at age 8. These classes are only offered to students in the Competitive Program.
Pre-pointe and pointe classes are offered for those students who show a keen interest in continuing their ballet studies.
An excellent foundation for any student. This dance style follows the technique of the Royal Academy of Dance and is the basis for all dance forms. Martin School of Dance follows both the Graded Syllabus and for the more serious student, the Vocational Graded Syllabus of the RAD.
