DurationIn 2024, the ballarat badminton association will once again be offering our free primary school badminton/pickleball/floor curling clinics. All schools in the ballarat area have the opportunity to take up this offer, on a first in, first served basis.
The clinic is designed to introduce the game to students and teachers, and teachers will be also introduced to the new International Schools Program, the BWF "Shuttle Time" program. To register your school's interest, please download the form below and return to the stadium.
Junior coaching for 2024 will being the week of Feburary 5th. We will have 2 different squads depending on player ability.
Pennant
Pennant is a structured teams/ladder based competition. Pennant is a weekly commitment for the season, and signing up before the season starts is essential. There are 3 season run throughout the year.

A structured competition for juniors aged from 6 to 18 of all abilities looking for have some fun with kids their own age.
Junior Competition runs on Friday nights throughout the school year only, except for public holidays.

Our social times are available most weeks of the year subject to public holidays and other events.
Our Saturday Social is a great way for the whole family to have some fun. especially as a way to keep warm in winter.
Badminton Training is offered by Altona Badminton Centre for all skill level. WSBA has a number of coaches ranging from Level 1 to Level 2. Our coaches have extensive coaching and playing experience training state and Australian players and developing our juniors.
Nt badminton now has a fully automated court booking system that allows users to book and pay for a court from our online booking system. The system will provide you access details to unlock the door onsite, lights will come on for your nominated booking time allowing you to manage your own booking...

We are able to visit schools in order to assist with badminton, or we can implement badminton from Grade 1 to Grade 12 (half or full day). These visits are done on a chargable basis and the costs will be invoiced.
