A Specialty Coffee Roaster
Vamo Coffee is a small-batch coffee roasting project that was launched in late 2020 in Philadelphia PA. We source specialty green coffees from around the world, meaning high-quality and premium payouts for farmers.
It all started with a long time barista and dedicated coffee person who's next goal was to roast coffee in a professional setting. Attention to detail and a scientific approach are big components to the coffee roasting and brewing process. But sharing the results with people is what makes it worth the absolute most.
The mission is to create new partnerships, make specialty coffee accessible to more people, and grow together in this journey.
The Roasting module is a comprehensive program geared to equipping students in how to optimize the roasting potential of green beans. Â Each level offers theory and much hands on experience, enabling students to leave well trained and confident to further excel outside of the classroom.Â
This is a three-day class comprised of lecture, coursework, and practical evaluation. Its required prerequisite is successful certification in the Intermediate level for the same module, plus passing a required 6-month waiting period between Intermediate certification and enrollment in this class.
