A component of our Modern Contemporary program is improvisation while disciplining the body with the various recognized Modern techniques. Individual creative skills are developed using dance movement to interpret the music, create a theme or storyline, express a mood or emotion.
As the student progresses in physical skill, it is interesting to see how much more diverse the student becomes in their interpretive & improvisation ability.
