​At Elevation Dance Co, our purpose is to develop our student's love of dance with an emphasis on the personal growth and achievement of each student.

Contemporary is a dance form that grew and evolved with modern art movements. It has less strict form than ballet and exists in the ‘now’ with many personal expressions of form and possibility.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including jazz and classical ballet. Originally, "contemporary dance" referred to the movement of new dancers who did not want to follow strict classical ballet and lyrical dance forms.
Contemporary builds a strong expressive, lyrical and dynamic dancer. There is lots of work on fluid movements, floorwork, and contractions as well as intricate combinations and big movement passages.
A lyrical, release based class incorporating the fundamentals of classical and contemporary dance.
Contemporary Dance Lessons are offered by Roseville Dance Academy. Dance teaches self-discipline, creativity, poise, grace, expression, correct posture and spontaneity. It improves confidence and builds self-esteem.
