We have created a dedicated, community-based dance training facility offering dance classes in a variety of styles and disciplines: A fusion of contemporary, commercial, and street styles all driven by passion, commitment, and energy.
DUTI Studios is Sydney's newest Dance Studio for teenagers and adults, hosting open classes for all levels. Our goal is to unite all artists by providing a dance hub for the expressive individual to learn, create, and be ever-evolving.
We are more than a dance studio, we are a connected community here for you- Collectively, we provide open dance and yoga classes, studio rental, event space and a place to be who you are.
Children from grade one at school and up can experience the earthy and strong flowing contemporary syllabus from ATOD. Be moved with this popular dance style. Classes are 1 hour in length and students have the opportunity learn techniques and performance items.
We also offer Contemporary and Lyrical classes. Most of our junior ballet students choose to do the Contemporary / Lyrical class and our major students have Contemporary included in the full Ballet course. The students have performed some beautiful numbers in our end of year concert.
Contemporary dance works towards connecting the mind and body of the dancer, while using narrative and stimulus to develop ideas to initiate movement and choreography.
The Certificate IV trains dancers and develops skills leading to audition for a wide variety of national and international ballet or contemporary programs.
Students are introduced to movements inspired by many dance cultures ballet, modern dance, Capoeira, martial arts, yoga, contact improvisation and Hip Hop. They gain physical skills and techniques that represent a global cultural perspective.
