Centre Stage Dance Studios has been operating at Yorkeys Knob, Cairns since 2001. The studio offers first-class tuition for boys and girls, in Classical Ballet, Aerial Acrobatics, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Cheerleading, Singing, Drama, and Hip Hop!
Students range from 4yrs to 18yrs, with adults more than welcome. Principal Sandra Kuhn has been teaching dance for more than 30 years and has brought together a staff of caring, experienced teachers who put the students' needs first, whilst offering an outstanding quality of performing arts education.
This class aims to encourage individual style and develop efficient and easy ways of moving. Movement sequences including rolling, falling, jumping and travelling are explored with a focus on safe dance practice and expression.
