Classes start with a comprehensive warm-up and gradually build up to more elaborate dance routines.

We are an exam free dance school, whilst our classes offer structure, technique and skill practice, our main focus is performance and choreography.

NZAMD Pre-Grades to Level 6, plus solo Diploma. (Ages 10 to Adult.) Students enjoy the feeling of moving through space, Co-ordinating the breadth of movement, gaining strength and flexibility.
The NZAMD Contemporary Syllabus, choreographed by Ann Dewey, is the first contemporary syllabus in the world and is often described as 'Yoga for Dancers'.
Contemporary is offered from 9 years of age through to an Advanced level.Â
Contemporary dance classes are available for students from Intermediate Foundation Ballet / Pre-Elementary Jazz and above.
