At LDA we offer the NZAMD Contemporary syllabus, created by world famous New Zealand Contemporary dancer, choreographer and teacher Ann Dewey.
This class has over the past few years developed into a very popular class. It is freedom of expression, includes great technique gained from ballet and emotion whilst dancing. Contemporary dance is an ‘anything goes’ genre.
RAD ballet exams, and jazz and contemporary exams are held annually in August and an exam school in the July school holidays is required as a pre-requisite for the process.Â
