We teach age and developmentally appropriate Ballet, Tap, and Jazz dance technique classes from a syllabus that allows younger students more time for movement exploration while providing advanced students with the tools to become professional dancers.
NZAMD Pre-Grades to Level 6, plus solo Diploma. (Ages 10 to Adult.) Students enjoy the feeling of moving through space, Co-ordinating the breadth of movement, gaining strength and flexibility.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and and classical ballet.
Contemporary dance classes are available for students from Intermediate Foundation Ballet / Pre-Elementary Jazz and above.
A fun, casual environment where students will learn technique and different choreography throughout the term. Students in these classes do not sit examinations.
RAD ballet exams, and jazz and contemporary exams are held annually in August and an exam school in the July school holidays is required as a pre-requisite for the process.
