To enhance their training in modern dance, our senior students are offered the opportunity to attend weekly contemporary classes from Grade 4 modern (II) level and upwards.

If students wish to take modern examinations beyond Grade 5, it is essential that they attend the contemporary class.
Founded in Dulwich, SE21 as Grafton Dance Academy in 2001. In 2009 we moved to the former Royal Mail Sorting Office in the centre of Herne Hill, SE24 and were renamed South London Dance School.
We are delighted to have three professional standard dance studios of our own, each with sprung floors, mirrors and ballet barres. There are no other dance studios in this area with comparable facilities.
