Students completing this course will gain work experience in The Manchester College's restaurant, complete 20 hours' work placement with an employer partner, and will work in partnership with The Chefs' Forum.

This is one of our most popular courses offering fast, seasonal and easy to make food. The dishes we cook will use the best of what's in season, with an emphasis on local ingredients which we source from our local suppliers Eades and Castle Farm, as well as produce from our own garden.
Our Foundation in Professional Cookery (6 weeks) and Diploma in Professional Cookery (12 weeks) offer students a comprehensive understanding of cooking methods and techniques, as well as valuable qualifications in food hygiene.
These evening cooking classes are a great way to brush up your skills in the kitchen. They take place one night a week, for five weeks. We hold both Beginner’s and Intermediate courses.
This intensive course is perfect if you love to cook, have a creative flair and want to further develop your cooking skills to move into a supervisory role in a professional kitchen.
