This fun, yet challenging, class is designed to give students confidence with their camera. Learn to control resolution, exposure, shutter speed, depth of field, ISO, creative modes and operational settings. Bring your camera and its manual to class.

My first workshop is called “Get out of the Auto Mode Workshop”. There you will understand your camera, know how it works, and operates. Opening a new world with tools to create the images you are looking for.
Photography class is offered by Color Me Empowered for all skill level. Color Me Empowered was organized in 2008 by Kristen E. Rice, an art teacher at Polk Elementary in Dallas ISD. We work with school-aged children in out-of-school-time and in-school programs in the Dallas area.
