If you are a practical person and would like to take an introductory qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, the Level 1 Diploma could be for you. It will provide you with a range of practical skills and knowledge which will give you a sound basis for a future career within the construction industry.
The course is assessed through a combination of practical and written assignments. You will have to complete a practical phase test, a theory test paper for each unit and an external on-line exam.
If you successfully complete the course, you will be awarded a City Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery. This is a nationally recognised qualification.
