DJ Fundamentals

The DJ fundamentals course is aimed at getting you out of the bedroom and onto the festival stage. This course is perfect for someone wanting to make a career of professional DJing.

Sessions are held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings (6:30pm-8:30pm). Each course will be concluded with a peer review session where all students perform a 10 minute demo performance.

Content Overview:

• The course is made up of 16 training sessions over a 4 week period.
• Each session is made up of a theory lecture & practical hands-on training.
• Theory session range from the history of DJing to Business ethics & general etiquette.
• Practical sessions cover the basics such as beat matching, all the way to more advanced techniques, such as looping, hot cues, & the creative use of effects.
