We will cover all the basic art principles (which apply to any subject). Learning to express yourself intuitively is of equal importance and many people already doodle, creating original works without being aware of it!
Simple materials like pen, pencil and paper are all that’s needed to get started; however a few extra materials will give you more options. Learners are to supply all their own art supplies.

In all of our cooking classes (unless specified otherwise), the tutor typically demonstrates the first night and will then discuss what ingredients students need to bring weekly.
Weekly costs of ingredients approximately $20 – $30 but this may vary as food prices vary and may also depend on what requests students may have for dishes.
With some of the shorter courses, students are to bring the required and specified ingredients on the first night.
Students are welcome to work together in pairs – please discuss your options with your tutor.
Students are asked to supply own tea towels, dish cloths and hand towels.
Join this class to explore alternative ways of tackling a drawing. Sketching exercises along with traditional studies will allow students to flex creative and observational drawing skills.
Learn basic drawing skills using pencils, charcoal and watercolour pencils. Create colourful graphic images with both oil pastels or soft pastels. Paint with Acrylics to portray images using a watercolour glaze technique or use thick Impasto Acrylic paint like oils.
A career as a painter and decorator is much more varied than you probably realise. At this event you can learn about all it and have a go at something different by getting creative with paint and stencils
In this course they will learn how to combine drawing and watercolour by exploring playful and unconventional techniques.
Choosing your own subject, media and style, you will create paintings from your own reference, photograph or imagination.Â
