Just Quilting is a friendly, independent patchwork, quilting and stitching shop based in the North East of England. Since opening in 2008, our shop has been a creative hub for quilters to socialise, share ideas and learn new techniques at our workshops and drop-in sessions.
In these six evening sessions you will learn how to create four of our in-house sewing patterns and master a range of techniques to get you confidently started on your sewing journey. By the end of the course you will have a range of beautiful, functional items for your life and home.
Would you like a skirt that fits your waist and hips correctly? We have the answer! Learn to make the perfect, pretty and versatile skirt tailor made for your shape and size.
Is it time to sort out your craft bag so you can find the right size needles and keep them all together – then you may like to learn how to make your own Knitting Needle Wrap? A fabulous range of fabrics will be provided cut out and ready for you to sew.
This series of classes is for those new to knitting socks as well as those who would like to learn how to knit in the round using double pointed needles (dpns). Over the four weeks, we’ll practise the important components of knitting socks from the top (cuff) down including knitting.
These sessions are for confident beginners, as we run other workshops alongside these sessions. Join our ‘Late Night Sewing’ sessions if you require more focused, intensive, professional and technical sewing guidance and advice.
