Students will learn to master basic to advanced Drumming techniques through playing, listening, music theory and music appreciation.

Our qualified teachers offer fun lessons in Guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass, Vocals, Saxophone, Ukulele and Music theory.
Percussion classes are offered by Hastings Piano Teacher. Hastings piano teacher Wendy Hunt is the person for you. Wendy is happy to teach all, from young children to mature adults, from beginners to advanced students.Â
Percussion classes are offered by Mauao Performing Arts Centre. Education is provided by industry professionals that perform and play within the community.

Established in September 1974, by Helen Rimmer and the Glenfield Music Centre Incorporated Society Committee; Glenfield Music Centre continues to maintain a similar number of students, because the number of classes funded by the Ministry of Education has been the same for more than 20 years.
Grouped by age, our engaging and dynamic group drumming & percussion lessons are designed to provide children aged 5 – 10 an introduction to drumming, percussion and to fundamental rhythmic concepts.
