We teach all the popular instruments - guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals to students of all abilities aged 7 upwards. We’ll teach you the basics then as you advance you’ll learn to play many types of songs and styles.
Learning the drums to play solo or part of a band can be one of the most rewarding challenges we offer. While we mainly focus on rock basics our advanced students usually expand their styles to Funk, Jazz and Samba. Learning technical exercises are made fun from the very start.
We teach Drums in our custom-built music studio in Kings Norton, Birmingham.Students have a one hour lesson in drums and spend 50 minutes learning new techniques on their instrument followed by an exciting 10 minute jam session where students get to put what they have learned into practice.
Melrose Music School provide drum lessons for a hobby or for pursuing graded exams through the Rockschool Drum Syllabus.
