Teaching Students to Achieve Their Musical Dreams
DurationWe teach the primary drumming skills required to play in a band. Students can learn all styles of playing from pop, sacred, rock, hip-popp, country, classic rock, heavy metal to smooth jazz.
Teachers play along with the students on an acoustic drum kit a pearl pro Ayotte drum kit, with pastie and zildjan cymbals. We use an electronic drum kit for lessons a TD9 Roland Pro Kit, which can produce a 100 different drum kits.
Allows the student to have the same sound of drums as the song they are learning. We enjoy teaching your favorite song. Learn rhythm, theory, notation, counting, and playing with that steady beat.
We would like to introduce our school to you! We are the Royal Edmonton School of Music a music school emphasizing musical instruction to develop a students musical talents to obtain their musical dreams.
We offer private music lessons on piano, voice, guitar, drums, theory, bass, saxophone, ukulele, flute, and clarinet We can prepare all students for the Piano Music Exams, Music Festivals, Talent Shows and Auditions.
We also provide lessons for groups check out our early music programs our Little Stars program ages 5-7 and our Junior Stars program ages 7 12 For our music students we offer a group class called “Rock school”.
Teacher-led class instructing students to learn to play in a band. For our adults and mature students we offer a group class called “Rocker School”. A teacher-led class instructing students to play classic rock and rock and roll songs.
We give lessons to any one that is 5 years to adult! We teach students in a fun approach that is exciting, inspiring and in a method students learn quickly.
When the time comes, your teacher will help you decide whether you want to go the acoustic route or the electric drumset route. Both have their advantages.
Our goal in drum lessons is to build a solid rhythmic foundation in students and to improve coordination
Students can choose in person or online instruction, or a combination, depending on the individual’s needs and situation
Kids will learn timing, rhythm, counts, co-ordination, all while making some awesome music with drum beats! A fun, energetic, rhythm filled drum class!
