The St. Albans School of Music currently conducts classes in Drums. The lessons are all conducted on a one to one basis but small groups can be organised, preferably on enrolment at the same time.
After your first two drum lessons, you can expect to be able to play a basic rock beat and a two-step beat, complete some basic rudiments and learn about the basic rhythm elements on hand drums.
Our hands on approach to teaching will have you playing from your very first lesson. Our curriculum covers key elements of drum instruction, from hand/foot coordination and proper stick placement to more advanced rudiments, poly-rhythms and ethnic beats.
