On the other hand, learning Dutch is also a great idea if you’re planning to visit the Netherlands or even some parts of the beautiful Dutch Caribbean anytime soon.
Dutch is the language of the Netherlands and Belgium –two countries with ties to the world’s richest trading partners. Despite the fact that English proficiency abounds in both, Dutch speakers have the upper hand in business, travel, and personal dealings within these two countries.
At this level you have little or no previous knowledge of Dutch. You learn to share information about yourself and ask basic questions of those around you.
