the Early Education and Childcare Team provides information, guidance, support and a range of appropriate, high-quality training and networking opportunities relating to early years continuing professional development (CPD).

Our training helps upskill and support staff to meet the needs of our youngest residents. With training in all areas from inclusion to child development, networks and support groups, we hope you find everything you need.

We want you to share your learning with your wider team to implement it throughout the setting.

Who is the training for?

Our training is for people working with children in an Ofsted-registered early years setting, working with children from birth to the end of nursery in the borough.

Our training is available across the sector for:

  • Pre-school playgroups

  • Day nurseries

  • Maintained nursery schools

  • School nursery classes (maintained, independent and academies)
