Excavation Safety training is offered by Stag Safety, LLC. At Stag Safety, we consider ourselves a fractional safety partner, allowing customers to select as-needed solutions without the large capital expenditures associated with in-house safety programs, trainings and certifications.

Attendees will learn about the hazards associated with working in and around excavations and trenches and the safe work practices to use on the job. T opics include hazard assessment, underground obstructions, load exposures, hazardous atmospheres, water accumulation, fall protection, inspections.

This is a Competent Person certification. Trenching & Excavation is some of the most dangerous work in the construction industry, but can be safe with some basic training. Each trenching or excavation work site has to have an individual who is a competent person.

Competent Person Trenching Safety training is offered by Hicks Safety Services. Hicks Safety Services creates satisfied clients by providing personal service that helps them to make their businesses better and stronger. We provide expert training and consulting experience.

This 8 hour course focuses on OSHA standards and on safety aspects of excavation and trenching. Since the competent person is required to make critical decisions about a project.
