Make-up Design and Styling Technology - (Advanced Make-up)

Qualifications:

After successful completion, two different VTCT International Qualifications will be earned, which are registered on the UK & European Qualification Framework.

• International Fashion, Theatre and Media Hair and Make-Up Diploma
• International Nail Technology Diploma

Become more than just a Make-up Artist – become a Make-up Designer. This course includes tuition- registration- and exam fees, learning material, uniform, products and equipment.

Course Units:

• Kryolan Educational Units
• Apply airbrush make-up to the face & body
• Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques
• Apply individual permanent lashes (Lash extensions)
• Nail technology incl.-
• Manicure & pedicure unit.
• Apply make-up
• Fashion and photographic make-up
• Media make-up
• Camouflage make-up
• Design and apply face and body art
• Instruction on make-up application
• Design and apply mehendi skin decoration
• Monitor and maintain health and safety
• Client care and communication
• Promote products and services to clients in a salon

Course Information:

• Requirements: No matric certificate needed, but learners need to be 16 years of age
• Class times: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 13:00
