A Yule log is a traditionalFrench dessert served at Christmas, especially in Belgium, France, Switzerland, Canada, Lebanon, Syria, and several former French colonies. Made of sponge cake to resemble a miniature actual Yule log, it is a form of sweet roulade.
Mayumi will also share her secrets to making a delightfully fluffy and lightly sweet Japanese Cheesecake!

This class is perfect for the kids who can’t miss an episode of their favourite dessert show and love sharing their creativity by making sweet treats for their family and friends.
We will prepare and bake three different flavours such as Red Velvet, Chocolate Mud and Lemon then the frostings for them. Decorations will include chocolate piping and moulding, gum paste flowers and cut-out flowers.
When you complete the Certificate III in Cake and Pastry you will be able to work as a baker, pastry cook or chef.
In this workshop, you will make and bake 6 vanilla cupcakes and then decorate them to take home.A moist and delicious vanilla cupcake recipe will be used and then using fondant to decorate.Embossed rolling pins will be shown how to use and achieve beautiful effects.
